The water park and theme park are great, but the walls of the hotel rooms themselves need more sound proofing. There was a very loud young person in the room next to ours that kept yelling and it almost sounded like he was in our room. At checkout, when asked, I stated that our stay was alright, but the person checking out didn't ask any follow up questions. There wasn't much he would have been able to do at that point since we weren't staying any additional nights, so I didn't elaborate. We may go back in the future, but I I'll try to find a quieter room for any future stays.
Fun place to stay and bring you kids (if you must bring them... plenty of good things for adults too. Game from is fun, as is the BIG indoor water park (the outdoor activities one looks cool too, but we always go in the winter.) Conference facilities are nice, many conferences are held there... fun unless if you choose to actually go to your meetings (smile). Restaurants on site are decent, lower end to high end. You also have easy access to all others in the Dells. The only problems with the place are 1) parking is challenging, be ready to curse around and walk awhile and 2) it can get VERY loud in the hallways and in the water areas (like all other water resorts in the Dells)... be prepared! Watch out for speed traps set by the local police!!!
Love working there, best place ever. I permenatly relocated from Miami,FL and I love to wake up every day and go to Kalahari where I am a life guard!!! I love to make sure adults and children leave happier then when they come in. My team of co-workers and managers are a dream team because we all help each other out to make sure everyone stays safe and has fun. #blessed please come down and see the team I'm so proud of working with.
Full service resort. Highly recommended! Very friendly staff, value for stay with theme park and water park. Drink prices are a little high. Buffet was great and good value for the price. We had the breakfast one so I would highly recommend.
Great room in a convenient location. Check in was smooth but I checked in after the 3-4pm rush. Water park was not overly busy; no problem getting a table and towels were generally available. In general, all staff was courteous. We participated in a scavenger hunt activity with the kids and felt like that activity could have been much better.
