Johnsen insurance has always gone above and beyond for me. When I was starting my business I went to Mike looking for some insurance and even though he didn't have a market for my particular company he still took the time out of his day to educate me and referred me to a competitor. Several times I've called him at random and needed something right away and he has always come through for me. I feel very confident doing business with Johnsen insurance!

Great people with top shelf service. I have been a personal and business customer for more than 20 years. Good selection of companies so you get the right coverages that fit your needs. One of the best parts is the help you get when you do have a claim! Nice to have someone local take care of you. As a bonus they do a lot to make the local community better. Part of the reason the Baraboo area is a wonderful place to live.
Went to Johnson Insurance when I wanted to compare insurance needs for vehicles and house. Ann was very helpful and in the end I was able to save some money so I went with them. Then I get a call from her a couple of months later telling me that the underwriter does not like my one set of steps and I need to put up a railing. I have been in the house for over 38 years and it was never a issue. I went in to talk and tell them that I was not going to do it. Some guy (never introduced himself) comes out of his office and tells me that I will have to do it. Mr Johnson just walks into his office. No working with me, no explanation, just some guy telling me that was the way it was or get cancelled! I requested a copy of the demand letter from Ann Johnson showing me the underwriters request and time limit to get a railing in place. Twice I asked, but no letter. They can demand but not show me in writing. If Mr Johnson could not take the time to talk to me when I was upset over the whole thing, just how helpful would he be if I ever had a claim. So the railing is going up and I will be changing Insurance Companies. So much for customer service. Thank you Johnson Insurance.
