First time going there. I was not disappointed! I was suprised at the amount of food you get for the cost to! We will be going back, that's for sure! The store is super cute, and the staff is beyond friendly. The only downside, it is not close to us. But that won't stop us when ever we are up in the dells area.
Lol tried to talk them into a discount for my birthday but they weren't having it! It was all very good though. Loved our waiter.
Host was terrible. We practically had to seat ourselves. He just walked by us about 4 times before we fairly loudly stated a table for 2. Waitress was nice but never checked on us til we were done and ready to leave. Worst service ever at this location. Normally its wonderful. Had to practically chase some one down to pay our bill!
The people in the store were very welcoming, unfortunately the restaurant staff were not. We were seated and given menus. We waited and waited. Several servers walked past us, looked at us and kept going. We were seated in the first section of the restaurant but people before us and the party after us were all taken into the next section. We continued to wait. No one came, not even to get us drinks. Eventually, I got up and said I would go and look around the store for a while. As I went into the store, two of the waitresses passed me going into the restaurant. I was expecting my husband to come and get me as they must by now have come to our table. Instead he came into the store having left the menus on the table and we went elsewhere. Such a shame. We wondered, as we are both English, if they didn't like foreigners but having read some of the reviews it seems this bad service isn't unusual.
Food was good typical fare. Wait service brought a strange tension to the table after a couple of requests for menu items they had neglected to bring...added tension when we asked for jelly and honey for biscuits. Two individual jelly packets were originally brought to the table for 6 biscuits. We waited about ten minutes for their delivery. We will return, but the above describes our last two visits with different wait staff. Just strange.
