As with all Wyndham Vacation Resorts, I am well pleased with Glacier Canyon in Wisconsin Dells. It's one of the easiest resorts to get to from the Chicago area. And the indoor and outdoor water parks have all the necessities for kids and adults. Yes, it can get crowded depending on the week(end) you stay, but we recommend doing your share of scouting early in your stay and in the mornings prior to the rush. Overall, we are happy with all that Glacier Canyon had to offer.
We've stayed at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells numerous times in the past & have stayed in different types of rooms. This is our first stay in the Wyndham area of the resort & have been very pleased. This is what looks to be a very new area, everything is very clean & upgraded. There's a bubble tub in our room which everyone has enjoyed. The full kitchen is so helpful when traveling so meals are quick. We're extremely pleased with our stay here and would highly recommend to our family and friends.
Rooms were well maintained. You could smell and see that they had recently been thoroughly cleaned. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Had a great stay.
Very nice hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms inviting, beds comfy. Breakfast was tasty. It was nice having the restaurant in the building. The staff was very friendly. We stayed one night then checked out. We ended up staying in the area so because we liked it there so much we checked in again the next night. I would go there again if I go back to that area.
Suite is well stocked for an extended stay, with cookware, dishes, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and even a washer and dryer (detergent provided--and it was scent-free, something that made our family very appreciative!). We loved staying here. My little 18 month old had fun seeing the mostly tame ducks from our balcony and the older kids really enjoyed the water park. Rooms are clean and service is excellent. We asked for clean sheets and although the policy is you wash your own during your stay, they graciously and quickly brought some up, and the lovely woman even stayed to help me put them on the bed. Rooms are nice quality. Could use a little more soundproofing between walls when people are in living room watching TV and others are in bedroom trying to put a child to sleep, but that is really minute. We loved staying here and would gladly do so again.
